They say that sometimes love starts with a spark. And that might be true, but if I were to wish you a love
I wouldn't wish fire for you.
You see fire is powerful, it burns bright and it's gone. It's beautiful and warm but it doesn't last long.
So instead of wishing you a love that burns
I wish you love like a river that twists and turns, it changes and flows, it is powerful and free. But it consistently find its way back to the sea.
And so like the water I hope your love is ever growing ever changing.I hope your love is powerful and free. And may you always find each other... like the river finds the sea.

Nothing is easier than saying words, and nothing is harder than living them day by day. What you promise today, must be renewed and re-decided tomorrow. At the end of this ceremony, legally, you will be husband and wife, but you must decide each day that stretches out before you, that you want to be married. Real love is something beyond the warmth and glow, the excitement and romance of being deeply in love. It’s caring as much about the welfare and happiness of your marriage partner as about your own. But real love is not total absorption in each other; It is looking outward in the same directions - together. Love makes burdens lighter; because you divide them. It makes joys more intense because you share them. Love makes you stronger, so you can reach out and become involved with life in ways you dared not risk alone.

Once upon a time, a boy met a girl, she gave him her hand & he held it tight. Together, they set off down the unknown path in front of them.
Sometimes they walked slowly; sometimes at a quicker pace. Sometimes they ran so fast it felt kind of like flying. Whenever he lost his footing, she steadied him and whenever she tripped, he helped her back up. Whenever she grew weary, he’d carry her.
Sometimes they didn’t know which direction to go, but though they would occasionally lose their way, they never lost each other. They wandered contentedly and lived happily, forever and always side by side.” -
The best love is the kind that weakens the soul,
that makes us reach for more,
that plants fire in our hearts and brings peace to your minds.
And that's what you've given me.
That's what I hope to give you. Forever.

You have known each other from the first glance of acquaintance to this point of commitment. At some point, you decided to marry. From that moment of yes to this moment of yes, indeed, you have been making promises and agreements in an informal way. All those conversations that were held riding in a car or over a meal or during long walks - all those sentences that began with "When we're married" and continued with "I will and you will and we will" - those late night talks that included "someday" and "somehow" and "maybe" - and all those promises that are unspoken matters of the heart. All these common things, and more, are the real process of a wedding.
The symbolic vows that you are about to make are a way of saying to one another, "You know all those things we've promised and hoped and dreamed—well, I meant it all, every word."
Look at one another and remember this moment in time. Before this moment you have been many things to one another - acquaintance, friend, companion, lover, dancing partner, and even teacher, for you have learned much from one another in these last few years. Now you shall say a few words that take you across a threshold of life, and things will never quite be the same between you. For after these vows, you shall say to the world, this - is my husband, this - is my wife. -
Love is a lot like a farm. It’s more than just throwing a bunch of seeds in the ground and hoping for the best. Nurture it and it will be rich and abundant. Neglect it and it will become troublesome and wild. Sure, there are factors you can’t control – storms, conflict and breakdown. But floods will always subside, droughts will break and fences can be mended. As for the rest, with patience, support and dedication, almost any challenge can be overcome. Above all, remember that love is hard “yakka” and with time, you’ll know every hill and valley in your relationship. When you get there, it’s the sweetest and most satisfying harvest of all.

May you have the love only two can know.
May you go where only two as one may go.
May the sun rise and set in your bonded hearts
and the moon never find you too long apart.
May you cherish each other’s dreams as your own
and turn stumbling blocks into steppingstones.
May you brave life’s mountains and miles together.
May there be no storm your love cannot weather.
May you be lovers and allies and friends.
May your soul’s conversation never end.
May you capture on earth what’s in heaven above.
May your hearts know the rapture of an uncommon love.

I didn’t fall in love with you. I walked into love with you, with my eyes wide open, choosing to take every step along the way. I do believe in fate and destiny, but I also believe we are only fated to do the things that we’d choose anyway. And I’d choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I’d find you and I’d choose you.

"Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love. How on earth can you explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love? Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with that special girl for an hour and it seems like a minute. That’s relativity."

Today is a day you will always remember
The greatest in anyone’s life
You’ll start off the day just two people in love
And end it as husband and wife
It’s a brand new beginning, the start of a journey
With moments to cherish and treasure
And although there’ll be times when you both disagree
These will surely be outweighed by pleasure
You’ll have heard many words of advice in the past
When the secrets of marriage were spoken
But you know that the answers lie hidden inside
Where the bond of true love lies unbroken
So live happy forever as lovers and friends
It’s the dawn of a new life for you
As you stand there together with love in your eyes
From the moment you whisper ‘I do’
And with luck all your hopes and your dreams can be real
May success find its way to your hearts
Tomorrow can bring you the greatest of joys
But today is the day it all starts.

If you have found a smile that is the sweetest one you’ve known.
If you have heard, within a voice, the echoes of your own.
If you have felt a touch that stirs the longing of your heart,
And still can feel that closeness in the moment you’re apart.
If you are filled with wonder at the way two lives can blend,
To weave a perfect pattern that is seamless end to end.
If you believe some things in life are simply meant to be,
Then you have found your soulmate, your hearts own destiny.
If you can always be as close and happy as today,
Yet be secure enough to grow and change along the way.
If you can keep for you alone your love as man and wife,
Yet find the time to share your joy with others in your life.
If you can be as one and walk through marriage hand in hand, Yet still support the goals and dreams that each of you have planned. If you can dare to always go your separate ways together, Then all the wonders of today will stay with you forever. -
To love is not to possess,
To own or imprison,
Nor to lose one's self in another.
Love is to join and separate,
To walk alone and together,
To find a laughing freedom
That lonely isolation does not permit.
It is finally to be able
To be who we really are
No longer clinging in childish dependency
Nor docilely living separate lives in silence,
It is to be perfectly one's self
And perfectly joined in permanent commitment
To another—and to one's inner self.
Love only endures when it moves like waves,
Receding and returning gently or passionately,
Or moving lovingly like the tide
In the moon's own predictable harmony,
Because finally, despite a child's scars
Or an adult's deepest wounds,
They are openly free to be
Who they really are—and always secretly were,
In the very core of their being
Where true and lasting love can alone abide
